Akshara Gowda’s Birthday Surprise: First Look as ‘Vaadi Kanthamma’ in ‘Hai Lesso’ Revealed!

On the occasion of actress Akshara Gowda’s birthday on Wednesday, the makers of director Prasanna Kumar Kota’s film ‘Hai Lesso’ revealed that she portrays a character named Vaadi Kanthamma. They also unveiled her character’s first look poster.

Producer Siva Cherry shared the first look on his X timeline, stating, “In a world ruled by men, she rules the game. Team #HaiLesso wishes the elegantly fierce #AksharaGowda a very Happy Birthday. Get ready to meet her as the fearless ‘VADDI KANTHAMMA’ on the big screens soon.”

The lead role in the film is played by Sudheer Anand, popularly known as Sudigali Sudheer. This project is produced by Siva Cherry and Ravikiran under the banner of Vajra Varahi Cinemas. Notably, it marks the production house’s debut, while it also serves as Sudheer Anand’s fifth film as a hero.

Set against a rural backdrop, the film features Sivaji, recognized for his impressive performance in ‘Court’, taking on the villain role. The first look has already received a warm reception.

The title ‘Hai Lesso’ is inspired by a colloquial expression commonly used in farming communities, adding an authentic rural touch. It’s worth mentioning that the film’s title logo is designed like a ship, with a female leg forming the letter ‘S’. Additionally, a mysterious figure holding a weapon is visible in the poster.

Natasha Singh and Naksha Sharan are featured as the female leads, with a supporting cast that includes actors like Motta Rajendran and Getup Srinu.

The film is backed by a young and talented technical team. Music is composed by Anudeep Dev, while cinematography is handled by Sujatha Siddharth. Chota K Prasad serves as the editor, and Brahma Kadali is the production designer. Chinta Srinivas is the writer for this project, with Ranjitha Guvvala as the costume designer.

‘Hai Lesso’ is set to release in theaters across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions.
