Bollywood actress Kajol has taken to her social media to wish Bollywood star Anil Kapoor on his birthday, celebrated on December 24th.
Sharing a picture of Anil on her social media story, Kajol wrote, “Many happy returns to the coolest @anilskapoor.”
For those unfamiliar, Kajol and Anil Kapoor starred together in the 1999 romantic drama Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain. The film explored the deep, emotional relationship between Vijay, played by Anil Kapoor, and Megha, portrayed by Kajol. Directed by the late Satish Kaushik, the film also featured Anupam Kher.
Many of Anil Kapoor’s friends and colleagues from the Bollywood industry have expressed their wishes for him on social media. His daughter, actress Sonam Kapoor, shared a heartfelt tribute, writing, “Happy Birthday to my hero and to my forever inspiration. Your energy, discipline, passion, and love for life amaze me every single day. Grateful to be your daughter. Love you endlessly. @anilskapoor.” She also posted numerous pictures of her father from various phases of his life.
Kareena Kapoor Khan sent sweet birthday wishes, calling Anil the “OG of everything.” She wrote, “Happy Birthday dearest Anil ji… You are the OG of everything, and both Saifu and I love you lots.” Accompanying a throwback photo of the ‘Mr India’ actor from his youth, she added, “May you always look 30 forever… Big hug @anilskapoor.”
Director and choreographer Farah Khan also took to social media to share a throwback photo capturing both her and Anil smiling at the camera. She wrote, “Happy birthday, dearest Papaji… @anilskapoor #legend. You inspire me every day.”
In another post, with a more recent photo of them, Farah added, “Me & Benjamin Button… @anilskapoor happy birthday.”
