Hollywood star Bradley Cooper appears to be quite serious about his relationship with girlfriend Gigi Hadid. Reports indicate that the actor has sought permission to propose and marry her.
A Family Matter
It has emerged that the 50-year-old actor reached out to Gigi’s mother, TV personality Yolanda Hadid, who is 61. She is reportedly pleased with the relationship, particularly since Gigi has been dating Bradley since October 2023.
A source shared with the Daily Mail, “Bradley asked Yolanda for Gigi’s hand in marriage. He wants her to know how serious he is about Gigi and how he plans to build a solid family with her in New York.”
A Blossom of Love
Gigi, who first met Bradley at a child’s birthday party, where their daughters were guests, has been anticipating a proposal. Discussions about getting married have also taken place with Yolanda and her father, 77-year-old real estate developer Mohamed Hadid.
The insider mentioned, “Her mom, Yolanda, is on board, so that was a no-brainer. But Gigi telling her father she wants to marry Bradley is a big step; it’s much more official.”
Plans for the Future
According to ‘Female First UK’, Bradley, who was previously married to actress Jennifer Esposito from 2006 to 2007, has also informed his mother, Gloria Campano, about his intentions to tie the knot with Gigi, potentially in 2026.
The insider added, “They are very close and he loops her in on everything.”
Both Bradley and Gigi are looking forward to marrying so that their children can grow up together. Bradley shares an eight-year-old daughter, Lea, with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk. The couple split in June 2019 after four years together.
Gigi has a five-year-old daughter, Khai, with her former boyfriend Zayn Malik, from whom she separated in 2021 after an on-and-off relationship spanning nearly five years.
