Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon is embracing the festive spirit alongside her lookalike children. The ‘Big Little Lies’ star shared several Instagram photos, showcasing her moments with each of her kids.
In one striking photo, the 49-year-old actress and her daughter Ava Phillippe, 26, wore matching black and metallic outfits. Another heartwarming snap featured her son Deacon Phillippe, 22, where she appeared all smiles. Witherspoon shares both children with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
“Making Merry,” she captioned the post, which also revealed a rare photo with her son Tennessee James Toth, 13, from her relationship with ex-husband Jim Toth.

This cheerful festive post comes shortly after Witherspoon candidly discussed her battle with depression following the birth of her daughter Ava in 1999 at the age of 23. Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, she revealed, “It was really bad. In the first six months, I was simultaneously happy and depressed. I just cried all the time; I was up all night, I was exhausted.”
The founder of media company Hello Sunshine shared that overwhelmed by external opinions, she eventually sought help from a mental health specialist. “It’s hard being a young mom and having people tell you how to be, how to react, how to give birth, how to nurse and how to feed your baby. It’s inundating,” she added.
