Actress Neha Dhupia recently became emotional as her 7-year-old daughter, Mehr, took on the role of a “flower girl” at a wedding.
The actress shared a touching video on her social media account, expressing her joy: “Our baby girl became a flower girl for the first time, and hearts were full… Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, our gorgeous bride. Many congratulations to our favourite girls. I love you so much, ma pa.”
In the video, Neha and her husband Angad Bedi were seen dressed in traditional attire, looking stunning. Their daughter Mehr, adorned in a beautiful dress with her hair neatly done, was an absolute delight.
As she walked behind the bride towards the mandap, holding a bouquet of flowers, Neha couldn’t help but get emotional, with Angad comforting her.
Neha often shares about her close bond with her children. Celebrating Mehr’s birthday in November, she posted a heartfelt message on social media. “The number 7 never felt as lucky as it feels today… My heart is full; I’m all choked up as I write this… Words fall short; they really do! We love you so much, our Mehrunissa.”
She showered her little one with blessings, saying, “Stay curious, calm, creative, collected… just the way you are… Happy 7th birthday, our doll.” Neha also shared some precious unseen moments of Mehr, making the occasion even more special.
For those who may not know, Neha married actor Angad Bedi, son of former Indian cricket captain Bishan Singh Bedi, in a private ceremony on May 10, 2018. They welcomed their first child, baby girl Mehr, on November 18, 2018. The couple became parents for the second time on October 3, 2021, with the arrival of a baby boy named Guriq.
