Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh has officially dubbed global icon Priyanka Chopra’s husband, Nick Jonas, as ‘Jiju’ by using the term on social media.
Ranveer was pleasantly surprised when Nick shared a fun dance video featuring a superhit song from Ranveer’s latest film, Dhurandhar. In the comments section of the post, Ranveer expressed his excitement by writing, “Hahahahahaah JIJUUUU JAAANE DEEEEEE.”
Nick, affectionately calling Ranveer ‘Bhai’, responded warmly, stating, “Bhai! The Dhurandhar title track is up next! Love to you and the family. Let’s go!”
Earlier, Nick had posted a clip of himself and his team members dancing to the song “Shararat” from Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar. He announced that this upbeat number had become his new pre-show hype song.
The energetic video showcased the popular singer and actor grooving along with his team, fully enjoying the moment. He captioned the post, “New pre-show hype song unlocked (sic).” The song “Shararat” features actresses Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza.
Ranveer Singh and Nick Jonas share a warm and friendly bond, highlighted by their playful social media exchanges, largely thanks to Priyanka Chopra. For those unfamiliar, Priyanka is Nick’s wife and has starred alongside Ranveer in several successful Bollywood films.
In Dil Dhadakne Do, they played siblings, while in Bajirao Mastani, they portrayed husband and wife. They were lovers in Gunday, and in Ram Leela, Priyanka made a special appearance in the song “Ram Chahe Leela Chahe,” where Ranveer enjoyed her performance from the audience.
Ram Leela also featured Deepika Padukone alongside Ranveer Singh.
