The shooting of director Nani’s upcoming emotional action entertainer ‘Delivery Boy’, featuring Leo Sivakumar and Brigida in lead roles, has been completed, as announced by the makers.
Sources close to the unit reveal that the film was shot entirely in Chennai and Coimbatore within a span of just 42 days. The publicists from Asasi Creations took to their X timeline to share the news: “#DeliveryBoy shoot wrapped up. Coming to theatres soon. Starring @leosivakumar02 @realradikaa @Brigidasagaoffl @DushyanthJayap1 @dhivakargj @DirectorBose @SundaramurthyKS @AmuthaLeoni @nanisignin @teamaimpr.”
Director Nani, who previously served as an assistant director to well-known filmmaker Suseenthiran, described the film’s premise. “If I have to briefly give you an idea of what the film is all about, it is about the efforts made by a hardworking delivery boy looking to save his mother. The hero of the story comes from a lower middle-class family, and the narrative revolves around his struggles to rescue his mother. It will be a gripping story that will keep audiences hooked to the screen from beginning to end.”
With the shooting now wrapped up, the post-production work is progressing rapidly. “We have now started dubbing for the film. We intend to release it sometime in March next year,” Nani mentioned.
In addition to Leo Sivakumar and Brigida, the film will feature a talented cast of supporting artists, including Radikaa Sarathkumar, Dushyanth, Kaali Venkat, and Bose Venkat among others.
‘Delivery Boy’ boasts a strong technical team. Produced by Amutha Leoni under the banner Asasi Creations, the film features music by Sundaramoorthy and cinematography by Prasanna Kumar. The dialogues are penned by Nanda Mani Vasagam, and the editing is handled by Vasanth. Stunts have been choreographed by Phoenix Prabhu, while art direction is by Suresh Kalyani.
