Director Ganesh Babu, famed for his critically acclaimed superhit film ‘Dada’, has officially announced the launch of his own production house. The inaugural project will be a political satire directed by Dhina Raghavan, featuring Gautham Ram Karthik in the lead role.
Launch of ‘Draft by GKB’
The newly established production house, named ‘Draft by GKB’, kicked off its first venture—Production No. 1—through a traditional pooja ceremony attended by notable filmmakers such as H. Vinoth, Raju Murugan, and producer Five Star K Senthil.
Ganesh K Babu expressed the significance of this venture on his X timeline, stating, “This isn’t just a banner. It’s a piece of me. A small dream I carried silently, a dream that kept growing with every film I watched, every story that moved me, every moment that pushed me closer to who I want to be. Directorial Debut of Dhina Raghavan
Director Dhina Raghavan, making his directorial debut with this film, is associated with Director Raju Murugan. He is well-regarded for his clear vision, strong sense of satire, and fresh creative approach—qualities that make him the perfect fit for this genre.
Star-studded Cast and Crew
In addition to Gautham Karthik, the film will feature ace director Selvaraghavan in a groundbreaking character that is set to intrigue audiences.
Important roles will also be played by Anchana Nethrun, Robbie, P. Vasu, A. Venkatesh, Maaran, Indhumathi, Aditya Kathir, and Bakkiyam Sankar.
On the technical side, the film will have music composed by Sam CS, with dialogues written by Raju Murugan. The cinematography will be handled by Pratheep Kaliraja, while Tha. Ramalingam will oversee art direction. Editing will be done by Deepak.
