Divyanka rose to fame through her role in “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein,” a show created by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. The series featured a talented ensemble cast, including Karan Patel, Ruhanika Dhawan, Anita Hassanandani, and Aditi Bhatia. The initial storyline was inspired by Manju Kapur’s 2011 novel “Custody,” although the series eventually expanded beyond the book’s events.

The narrative focused on Tamil dentist Ishita Iyer and Punjabi businessman Raman Bhalla, who live as neighbors in Delhi. Ishita, unable to conceive, faces challenges in finding a suitable match, while Raman is navigating the complexities of life as a divorcee. Their lives intertwine when Ishita develops a nurturing bond with Raman’s young daughter, Ruhi, who had been left behind by his ex-wife.
