Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara Seek Blessings at Kukke Subrahmanya Temple, Karnataka

Director Vignesh Shivan and his wife, actress Nayanthara, recently visited the famous Kukke Subrahmanya Swamy temple located in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka.

On Friday, Vignesh Shivan shared a picture on his Instagram alongside Nayanthara while standing outside the temple, which is well-known among devotees. Interestingly, this temple had also been visited by Telugu director Sampath Nandi, who came to offer prayers with his family on his birthday earlier this year.

As Vignesh prepares for the release of his much-anticipated film ‘Love Insurance Kompany’ (LIK), featuring actors Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in lead roles, his visit holds special significance. The release of this film was postponed from October 17 to December 18 to prevent a clash with Pradeep Ranganathan’s film ‘Dude.’

The film has faced multiple delays, placing significant pressure on Vignesh Shivan. In a heartfelt note commemorating the 10th anniversary of his superhit film ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ on October 17, he reflected on the journey, writing: “Ten years of NaanumRowdyDhaan today… October 21st 2015 🙂 A life blessed with a lot of miracles started from this lovely day. How beautifully time has played its tune…”

However, he had envisioned this milestone differently. He expressed hopes that ‘Love Insurance Kompany’ would reach “all your hearts, making the day even more special for me.”

Vignesh shared that he had saved his happiness for this specific occasion. Yet, life taught him that joy could be found even without such moments. He wrote about discovering peace and happiness during this Diwali, realizing that true contentment doesn’t rely on applause or success.

“We chase milestones thinking they’ll only make us happy, but happiness is not such a tough destination! It can be a gentle pause from everything else that kept you busy, a sense of calmness, a feeling of satisfaction… A warm hug from your loving wife, that kiss reassuring the deep love existing for over a decade!” he elaborated.

He continued, “The innocent laughter from your babies, looking straight into your eyes, knowing nothing about the pain that’s hidden inside! Your family and friends’ unconditional love, saying sweet things that make you feel better—these are as good as the big wins we save our happiness for. I have learnt — You don’t have to ‘win’ to be happy.”

Vignesh encouraged everyone to appreciate life’s small blessings and remain hopeful. He stated, “Sometimes dreams take a different route — but God, always, in His quiet own way, finds a method to make you smile. A heart that feels grateful, even when things don’t go as planned, is a heart that’s blessed, filled with love and acceptance.”

In closing, he shared a powerful message: “Nenacchadhu nadandhaalum, nadakkalanaalum! Nalladheyyyy nadakkummm nu nambuvom (Whether what you believe happens or doesn’t happen, let us believe that only good things will happen). Life is beautiful! God is great!”
