The makers of director Anil Ravipudi’s highly anticipated commercial entertainer, ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’, featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi and actress Nayanthara, have announced some exciting news for fans. Actor Venkatesh will be making an extended cameo appearance in the film, much to the delight of both Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh’s admirers.
Gold Box Entertainments, one of the production houses behind the film, shared this thrilling news on their social media. They wrote, “A collaboration that generations have been dreaming of! Team #ManaShankaraVaraPrasadGaru proudly welcomes Victory @VenkyMama garu for an extended cameo alongside Megastar @KChiruTweets garu. #MSG – THE BIGGEST FAMILY ENTERTAINER OF TFI.”
Chiranjeevi himself welcomed Venkatesh to the project by posting on X, stating, “Welcoming my dear friend, Victory @VenkyMama to our #ManaShankaraVaraPrasadGaru Family. Let’s celebrate the joy this Sankranthi 2026 in theatres.”
This announcement follows shortly after Chiranjeevi’s Deepavali celebrations, which he enjoyed with close friends, including Venkatesh and Nagarjuna. The film has already created tremendous excitement, and this latest update has significantly heightened fans’ expectations.
Previously, the filmmakers had revealed the title teaser for Chiranjeevi’s birthday. The teaser featured a sharp-dressed Chiranjeevi arriving in a vehicle, flanked by a group of commandoes armed with weapons. The background music notably repeated the word “Boss,” hinting that Chiranjeevi’s character is at the helm of a security organization.
Originally referred to as #Mega157, this film is being produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under the banners of Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments.
Fans are eagerly anticipating this project, as it marks Nayanthara’s third collaboration with Chiranjeevi, following ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ and ‘Godfather.’
Director Anil Ravipudi, known for his recent blockbuster ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’, is at the helm of this film. The music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, while Sameer Reddy is handling cinematography.
Editing is done by Tammiraju, and A S Prakash serves as the art director. The film’s executive producer is S Krishna, who has co-written the story along with G Adi Narayana.
‘Sana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’ is scheduled to hit the screens for Sankranti 2026.
