Bigg Boss 19 is filled with drama, conflicts, and strong opinions, but this time the focus shifted to actor Gaurav Khanna, who faced intense criticism from host Salman Khan during the Weekend Ka War episode aired on the 20th and 21st of September.
Support from Aurra Bhatnagar
Amid the criticism, Gaurav has received strong backing from his former Anupama co-star Aurra Bhatnagar, who portrayed his on-screen daughter Aadhya in the popular television series. Taking to social media, Aurra voiced her support after Gaurav faced humiliation on the reality show.
Reacting to an incident where black paint was used against Gaurav during a task, she stated, “What happened to Gaurav sir with the black paint was not just wrong; it was deeply disrespectful. No amount of paint can hide the truth of your hard work, dignity, and character. You carried yourself with grace even when faced with humiliation, and that strength speaks louder than anything else.”
She continued, “Respect and class can never be erased. Your journey shows that integrity shines brighter than negativity. We stand with you, proud of the way you held yourself through it all.” For those unfamiliar, the bond between Aurra and Gaurav as a father and daughter was a standout aspect of Anupama, capturing the hearts of viewers with their natural camaraderie. Aurra left the show last year, with Gaurav following suit a few months later.
Salman’s Critique
Gaurav was called out by Salman Khan for his lack of activity in tasks and his seemingly laid-back attitude in the game. Khan issued a stern reminder, urging him to step up if he truly wished to stay in the competition.
During the black paint task, Baseer Ali and Amaal Mallik painted Gaurav’s face black, critiquing him for not being active. While Amaal maintained a level of dignity, Baseer took it too far, turning it into a moment of extreme humiliation for Gaurav. Despite this, Gaurav responded with dignity and grace.
