Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade’s upcoming drama “The India Storry” has officially completed filming.

The production team, MIG Production & Studios, announced the wrap-up on their official Instagram account, sharing a new poster of the much-anticipated film.

“The India Storry” is set to be an intense drama, delving into the dark world of major scandals involving pesticide companies. The film is expected to feature a compelling narrative and powerhouse performances, shedding light on critical issues while keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.

Kajal commenced filming for the project back in January in Pune. Sharing her excitement, the ‘Singham’ actress posted a picture on social media holding a clapboard that read “The India Storry” along with the caption, “Kickstarting our first schedule in Pune, for The India Story. Excited to bring this untold, impactful story to life. Mark your calendars – 15th August 2025 – see you in the cinemas!”

Star-Studded Cast and Vision

Directed by Chetan DK, “The India Storry” features prominent roles played by Kajal Aggarwal, Shreyas Talpade, Murali Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, and Trisha Sarda, among others. Backed by Sagar B Shinde and MIG Production and Studios, the film promises a hard-hitting narrative centered on one of the most controversial issues of modern times.

Scheduled for a theatrical release in 2026, the exact date of the film’s debut has yet to be announced.

Thank you for asking because I completely freaked out by the question. I thought you were gonna make me go. Like that was my reaction to it; I was like I’m not going! I was like why are you making me go?! You’re like there’s no spaceship here.”

According to reports, the 35-year-old singer is deterred by the thought that any potential spaceflight she undertook would be met with skepticism. She expressed, “If I go, no one will believe I went. It doesn’t matter if you go because everyone thinks you didn’t go. Or they have a weird take on it. I have no fascination.”

In addition, Taylor addressed concerns from fans that marriage to Travis Kelce might result in her stepping back from making music. Responding to the notion, Scott noted that some fans were speculating, saying, “Well, she’s going to get married and then she’s going to have children and then she’s going to be the last album.”

With a laugh, the ‘Blank Space’ singer replied, “It’s a shockingly offensive thing to say. It’s not why people get married. So that they can quit their job. It’s also like music for me is…”

‘Godday Godday Chaa 2’ continues the legacy of the beloved original, blending humor, celebration, and a strong social heartbeat that explores gender coexistence through music and storytelling.

Released under the Zee Music label, the film is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and produced by Zee Studios and VH Entertainment. It is set to hit cinemas on October 21, 2025.
