The makers of director Vishnu Edavan’s highly anticipated romantic entertainer ‘Hi’, featuring Nayanthara and Kavin in lead roles, have unveiled the first look poster of the film, much to the excitement of fans and film enthusiasts.

Produced by Zee Studios South, The Rowdy Pictures, and Seven Screen Studios, the film includes a talented ensemble cast, such as K Bhagyaraj, Prabhu, Radhika, Sathyan, Adithya Kathir, and Kureishi, among others.

For those unfamiliar, Vishnu Edavan is making his directorial debut with this project after working as an associate director under renowned director Lokesh Kanagaraj on notable films like ‘Kaithi’, ‘Master’, and ‘Vikram’.

Actress Nayanthara also posted the first look on her Instagram, expressing, “It all begins with a simple Hi :)”

Vishnu Edavan described his film as a wholesome family entertainer that delves into the theme of true love. Reports suggest that filming is currently ongoing in and around Chennai, with approximately 20 days of shooting already completed. The film features seven songs, with two songs already picturized.

Expectations are high, especially since this marks the first collaboration between Nayanthara and Kavin.

The film boasts a strong technical team, with music composed by Jen Martin, cinematography by Rajesh Shukla, and editing handled by Philomin Raj. The art direction is crafted by Shekhar B, while the dance sequences are choreographed by Brinda and stunts by Dinesh Kasi.

The next shooting schedule of director Buchi Babu Sana’s eagerly awaited action film ‘Peddi’, featuring Telugu star Ram Charan in the lead role, is set to begin in Pune on Friday.

Sources close to the film’s unit report that work on this highly anticipated rural action drama is progressing swiftly. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film is being made on a grand scale.

The team is gearing up for its upcoming shooting schedule, starting Friday in Pune. A spectacular song featuring Ram Charan and the leading lady, Janhvi Kapoor, will be shot during this period.

Composed by Academy Award-winning maestro AR Rahman, the track is expected to be a soulful melody. With renowned choreographer Jani Master crafting the choreography, this song is poised to be a visual treat, capturing the vibrant chemistry between the lead pair and showcasing captivating dance moves.

It’s worth noting that the unit of ‘Peddi’ had previously filmed another grand song featuring an impressive 1,000 dancers. This was shot in Mysore during the Vinayaka Chavithi festival, a day when many chose to relax. The grand song, featuring Ram Charan, was also choreographed by the popular Jani Master.

Sources indicate that post-production work is ongoing as well. The team is working tirelessly to ensure the project remains on schedule.

Ram Charan has undergone a complete transformation for his role. The stellar cast also includes Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar in a significant supporting role, alongside Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma in key parts.

With a top-notch technical crew on board, ‘Peddi’ promises a rich cinematic experience. R Rathnavelu is responsible for cinematography, while National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli oversees the editing process.

‘Peddi’ is slated for a grand Pan-India theatrical release on March 27, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
