Beloved B-town couple Neetu and Rishi Kapoor have shared the screen multiple times in various hits. One of their notable films together was the 1977 classic, “Doosara Aadmi.”
Neetu recently re-shared the romantic track “Jaan Meri Rooth Gayi” from Ramesh Talwar’s directorial in her Instagram Stories. She noted, “48 years of Doosara Aadmi (sic).” Additionally, her Stories showcased another song titled “Nazron Se Kah Do” from the same film.
For those unfamiliar, Neetu and Rishi first crossed paths in 1974 on the sets of “Zehreela Insaan.” What began as a professional relationship evolved into a deep bond, leading to their marriage in 1980. The couple welcomed their daughter, Riddhima, in 1980 and their son, Ranbir, in 1982.
Beyond “Doosara Aadmi,” Neetu and Rishi collaborated on multiple projects, including “Rafoo Chakkar,” “Besharam,” “Kabhi Kabhie,” “Zinda Dil,” “Amar Akbar Anthony,” “Anjane Mein,” “Dhan Daulat,” “Khel Khel Mein,” and “Do Dooni Chaar,” among others.
Tragically, Rishi passed away on April 30, 2020, after a two-year battle with leukemia, at the age of 76.
On October 1, Neetu commemorated the seventh death anniversary of her mother-in-law, Krishna Raj Kapoor. She shared a cherished throwback picture with her late mother-in-law on her Insta Stories, expressing that she misses her “everyday.” The image captured both Kapoor bahus smiling at the camera, accompanied by the heartfelt caption, “Miss you everyday mom.”
Krishna Raj Kapoor, the wife of legendary actor Raj Kapoor, passed away in 2018 due to cardiac arrest at the age of 87. Raj Kapoor married Krishna Malhotra in May 1946, and they were blessed with five children: three sons, Randhir, Rishi, and Rajiv, along with two daughters, Ritu and Rima.
