Actress Tanya Maniktala, renowned for her heartfelt performances, expresses that Diwali has always been a special time to enjoy with family and celebrate the comforts of home.
Tanya’s Diwali Celebrations
In a recent discussion about her Diwali festivities, Tanya noted, “For me, Diwali is about spending time with the family, being at home, decorating the house, and treating myself to good food. I am really looking forward to spending these moments with my loved ones.”
She conveyed her festive spirit as a strong source of motivation. “I think just spending time with the family is enough to get me back on track. It’s like I have been recharged and am ready to take on everything—both literally and metaphorically,” she added.

Tanya will next appear in Paan Parda Zarda, a gripping narrative set in the dangerous world of gangsters. This show promises a powerful storyline filled with layered characters, intense drama, and high-stakes action.
It features an impressive cast, including Priyanshu Painyuli, Sushant Singh, Rajesh Tailang, and Manu Rishi, and revolves around illegal opium smuggling in central India.
Career Highlights
Tanya made her acting debut in 2018 with School Days. Her role as Lata Mehra in A Suitable Boy alongside Ishaan Khattar in 2020 marked a significant turning point in her career.
In 2021, she starred in Netflix’s Feels Like Ishq opposite Skand Thakur and was seen in Chutzpah alongside Varun Sharma. She also appeared in How To Fall In Love with Ayush Mehra. Her Hindi film debut came with Mumbaikar, featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Vikrant Massey.
Tanya further showcased her talent in Tooth Pari opposite Shantanu Maheshwari, as well as in the web series P.I. Meena and Flames Season 3. In 2024, she will play the role of Tulika in her second film, Kill, inspired by a train robbery experienced by Bhat in 1995. The film also stars Lakshya Lalwani and Raghav Juyal.
