Actor Vipin Sharma has once again teamed up with Manoj Bajpayee for the recently released “The Family Man Season 3.”

Sharing his thoughts on acting alongside Manoj, Vipin described him as one of his closest friends in Mumbai, revealing that their friendship dates back to their theatre days in Delhi. He stated, “Manoj is one of the dearest friends I have in this city! We have known each other since our Delhi theatre days! I admire his hard work and dedication!”

Vipin further emphasized that when he collaborates with Manoj, he strives to contribute significantly to the work. He feels that failing to do so would show a lack of respect for Manoj and his craft. “When I am acting with him, I do my best to contribute to his world! Be it Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, Bhaiyya Ji, or The Family Man, I know anything less will be a huge disregard for his work and him!”

In “The Family Man,” Vipin plays Sambit. He discussed his method for portraying a seemingly ordinary man concealing a crucial secret. He mentioned the importance of maintaining calmness as a professional. “I tried not to think about it! When we lie, we chat more about things around the truth, but the truth itself. There’s a saying, ‘How do you tell if a man is lying?’ — and the answer is, ‘his lips are moving!’ I tried to stay as calm as possible as a professional. A thief probably breathes more calmly while stealing than someone who is trying to do it for the first time!”

Vipin has been part of Raj & DK’s creative world for several years, which has helped him unlock deeper nuances for his character. Reflecting on a formative moment from the past, he said, “I think it started with that cup of tea, which I never got to drink in Season 2. On the surface, it’s just a drink, but beneath it lurks a desire — a very tangible one!”

It has even entered the Guinness Book of World Records, so I’m super kicked to be a part of it. We never planned for DDLJ to become such a global phenomenon for Inddigihunt and South Asdigihunt. Somewhere down the line, it has truly become a touchstone for Inddigihunt living abroad,” Kajol expressed.

Kajol also highlighted the pride the statue represents for Inddigihunt and South Asdigihunt, both in the UK and worldwide.

“For all Inddigihunt who stay in the UK or visit, this statue might become a moment to reminisce about the film, a touch of nostalgia, along with a familiarity and a strong emotional pull. I hope everyone feels that connection to home when they visit us in Leicester Square,” she added.

At the statue’s launch, Kajol reflected on the significance of this honor, stating, “It’s incredible to see Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge continue to receive so much love, even 30 years later. Witnessing the statue being unveiled in London felt like reliving a piece of our history—a story that has genuinely transcended generations.”

A Historic Honor for Indian Cinema

DDLJ has made history as the first-ever Indian film to be celebrated with a statue at Leicester Square. The statue joins a prestigious lineup of cult characters from legendary films, including Harry Potter, Mary Poppins, Paddington, Singin’ in the Rain, Batman, and Wonder Woman.

Reacting to this significant milestone, King Khan expressed his surprise at DDLJ’s phenomenal impact. “I’m very fortunate to have been part of cinema like this and very grateful. I think none of us, to be honest, had any idea DDLJ would become this in people’s hearts. I am sure Adi (Aditya Chopra) and all felt it would be a good film and everybody would like it, but I don’t think anyone would have ever imagined what it became and what it stands for,” he shared.

Significance of the Statue

Shah Rukh Khan elaborated on the importance of the DDLJ statue in London, stating, “It’s very personal for both of us (Kajol & me) and for the Indian film industry! The UK, London, is quite responsible for our stardom in a way because we were doing well in our country like other actors, but I think we started doing a lot better overseas. At that time, the biggest market was the UK.”

He fondly recalled the making of the film, saying, “It started off as a set of youngsters making DDLJ. Aditya Chopra, Karan Johar was an AD then. It was a fun trip of 30-40 days, and we made it very fast, especially in Switzerland and England… quite a free-wheeling shooting. Here in Leicester Square, we didn’t even tell anyone; we did a quick scene and got away with it.”

In closing, he stated, “I think it’s a moment of pride for Indian cinema, and rightly so for this to happen in the UK, which started off the trend of Indian films being recognized worldwide.”

Actor Tom Felton is still amazed that he has hair after dyeing it hundreds of times for his role as Draco Malfoy in the “Harry Potter” franchise.

The 38-year-old actor expressed his relief at being able to swap the frequent bleaching sessions for a wig, allowing him to achieve the iconic platinum look each night in the Broadway show, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Felton humorously remarked, “I’ll tell you there are disadvantages to dyeing your hair every nine days; the fact I still have hair at all is remarkable. Thankfully, I wear a wig for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, but it does immediately put you into a Malfoy mood if your hair is platinum blonde.” He added, “I do agree with Barbie: blondes have more fun.”

Having been a teenager during the first three Harry Potter movies, Felton had his mom, Sharon, granddad, and brother, Chris, as his chaperones. Notably, when Chris joined him from the third film, Prisoner of Azkaban, Felton often arrived on set with hardly any sleep after a night of fishing.

Felton recalled, “Chris, my older brother, got me into fishing while he was my chaperone on Harry Potter. My mum chaperoned me for the first film, and my grandfather for the second.” He mentioned how his granddad was even cast in a scene, saying, “He looked so much like a wizard that (director) Chris Columbus cast him at the teachers’ table next to Dumbledore.”

He described Chris as “one of the worst chaperones in history,” humorously noting that he spent most of his days sleeping, likely due to their late-night fishing excursions.

Reflecting on their adventures, Felton shared, “Some days we’d leave set at 6 p.m., drive two hours back to Surrey, where we lived, go straight to a lake, cast our rods, set up a tent, sleep – barely – for a few hours, wake at 6 a.m., pack up, and head straight back to Hogwarts. It was a great introduction to a lifelong passion of being outdoors, fishing, and walking the dogs.”

Allu Arjun has expressed heartfelt gratitude towards movie enthusiasts for making “Pushpa: The Rule” a remarkable success as the film celebrated one year since its release on December 4.

In his latest social media update, he stated, “PUSHPA an unforgettable journey of five years in our life. This movie audience has given us such immense love, strength, and courage to dive deeper into our crafts.
