Bollywood actress Genelia Deshmukh has extended warm wishes to popular television actor Hussain Kuwajerwala on his 48th birthday, describing him as the nicest person she knows.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Genelia shared a heartfelt picture of Hussain, famed for his roles in shows like Aashirwad, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Krishna Arjun, and Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, among others.

In her post, she wrote: “Happy birthday to the nicest person I know @huseinkk We love you – Please hang with us more.”

Hussain made his mark in television with a leading role in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, which was followed by his portrayal of Sumeet Wadhwa in Kumkum – Ek Pyaara Sa Bandhan alongside Juhi Parmar. Not only is he a winner of Nach Baliye 2, but he also participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6.

His Bollywood journey began in 2013 with the film Shree. After an eight-year hiatus from television, he made a comeback with the comedy show Sajan Re Phir Jhoot Mat Bolo, where he played Jaiveer Chopra.

On the other hand, Genelia is set to star in Ram Gopa Varma’s upcoming horror comedy Police Station Mein Bhoot, featuring Manoj Bajpayee. This will mark the first time the two will share screen space.

Bollywood and South star Aditi Rao Hydari, proud of her heritage from the royal family of Wanaparthy in Telangana, recently shared a heartfelt post on social media about the revival of the Wanaparthy saree, a weave rich in cultural significance and family legacy.

Reviving the Wanaparthy Saree

In her post, Aditi expressed her enthusiasm about the saree’s diverse roots, stating, “The revival of the Wanaparthy saree! A saree that has multicultural roots, much like me!” She showcased a series of images from an exhibition dedicated to this cherished fabric.

Celebrating Heritage Through Family

Aditi elaborated on her family’s connection to the revival efforts, recalling her grandfather, Raja J Rameshwar Rao, who dedicated himself to this cause. “He encouraged the weavers and ordered for the family from them. Had old designs sent to them to relearn and recreate,” she shared. She further noted that her ancestors, the art-loving rulers of Wanaparthy, had invited Pathani weavers to settle in their kingdom, allowing the saree to evolve over time.

Reflecting on her personal memories, Aditi recalled a specific saree cherished by her grandmother and mother, inspired by a famous Ravi Varma painting. “I remember one specific saree that my grandmother, mother and her sisters have, inspired by a famous Ravi Varma painting, the black asharfi saree. And now I realize that I was inspired by that saree too,” she wrote, reminiscing about how it influenced her wedding attire designed by the renowned Sabyasachi at the Wanaparthy temple.

A Call to Preserve Legacy

It was the best journey of my life. The two years we spent together, I owe it to Kabir sir. He is one of the finest directors of Indian cinema. He added, “My mom and dad are here, and I am so happy that this moment is happening in front of them. We have seen TV since childhood, holding the film trophy. I think this used to happen in my house too. We have always thought of this moment. And when I became an actor, the first thing was that when will I get a film trophy for Best Actor.
