Riddhima Kapoor Reveals Harrowing Flight Experience with Daughter Samara

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and her daughter Samara Sahni recently went through a frightening experience during a flight.

Riddhima shared the ordeal on her Instagram Stories, detailing the incident in a heartfelt note. She explained that as their plane landed, it unexpectedly lifted back into the sky, leaving both of them terrified.

She wrote, “Today, my daughter and I experienced a moment I’ll never forget. Our plane touched down, and then suddenly lifted back into the sky. For those few seconds, both of our hearts stopped.”

Although fear gripped her, Riddhima resolved to remain strong for Samara, who was looking at her with apprehension. “I held her hand so tightly as she looked at me with fear in her eyes, and all I could do was stay strong for her while silently trying to steady my own breath,” she added.

While both mother and daughter are safe now, the unsettling experience has deeply affected Riddhima. “We were traumatised for a moment, but we’re safe and that’s all that truly matters. Experiences like this shake you, but they also remind you how fragile and precious life is,” she concluded her post, including a folded hands emoji.

Looking ahead, Riddhima will feature in the upcoming streaming special “Dining with the Kapoors,” which celebrates the centenary of Bollywood legend Raj Kapoor. The show brings together the Kapoors, the first film dynasty of Hindi cinema.

Featuring notable family members like Randhir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Rima Jain, Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and Aadar Jain, this one-hour special has been created by Armaan Jain and directed by Smriti Mundhra.

“Dining with the Kapoors” is set to premiere on Netflix on November 21.

George Clooney: Why Failure is a More Powerful Teacher Than Success

Hollywood star George Clooney credits “failing” as a crucial element for significant life learnings, asserting that success isn’t necessarily a good teacher.

The 64-year-old actor has achieved immense success in Hollywood, establishing himself as one of the most recognizable and highest-paid stars globally. However, George believes he has gained valuable insights from some of his notable flops, particularly the 1997 film Batman and Robin.

When asked about the film from which he learned the most, George, who starred alongside renowned actors like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Uma Thurman, and Alicia Silverstone in the critically panned movie, told People magazine, “Batman and Robin! I learned a lot (from) that one. You don’t learn from succeeding; you learn from failing, and then you have to figure it out along the way, so it’s helpful.”

In Batman and Robin, directed by Joel Schumacher, George portrayed Batman, a role that garnered generally negative reviews from critics. He has previously criticized his own performance in this film.

Reflecting on his experience in a 2019 conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, George admitted, “I wasn’t good in it; it wasn’t a good film. What I learned from that failure was that I had to relearn how I was working. Now, I wasn’t just an actor getting a role; I was being held responsible for the film itself. So the next three films I did were Three Kings, Out of Sight, and O Brother, Where Art Thou? That was a very specific choice for me to find better projects.”

Earlier this year, George expressed that he is no longer in a “rush to succeed.” He feels he has already “had (his) career in many ways” and is now content prioritizing his family over personal goals in the film industry.

The actor, who shares eight-year-old twins Ella and Alexander with his wife Amal, stated, “I’m not in that mass rush to succeed anymore. I’ve had my career in many ways, and you know things were winding down in a way, so I get to be home with my kids a lot and it’s fun. I’m still young enough that I can run around with them. That’s going away quickly, but I can still do it right now.”

George and Amal recently celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary, and he shared how they marked the special occasion: “We had a nice dinner night before last.” When asked about the next 11 years for the couple, George humorously remarked, “Mostly be me gumming bread because I’m 64, so I’ll be 75.”

In previous statements, George has also noted that he feels he’s been the “recipient of a lot of luck” throughout his life.

On November 16, 2025, Cruise received the award from Alejandro González Iñárritu, the director of his untitled upcoming movie set for release in October 2026. During his emotional acceptance speech, Tom reflected on the power of cinema. “The cinema, it takes me around the world. It helps me to appreciate and respect differences. It shows me also our shared humanity, how alike we are in so, so many ways,” he shared. He emphasized the collective experience of watching films: “And no matter where we come from, in that theatre, we laugh together, we feel together, we hope together, and that is the power of this art form. And that is why it matters; that is why it matters to me. So making films is not what I do; it is who I am.”

Cruise reminisced about his love for cinema from an early age: “I was just a little kid in a darkened theatre, and I remember that beam of light just cut across the room. Suddenly, the world was so much larger than the one that I knew.” He shared how the experience sparked his desire for adventure and understanding: “It opened my eyes. • Jodie Foster Admits to Dodging Anthony Hopkins on ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ Set!

Jodie Foster Admits to Dodging Anthony Hopkins on ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ Set!

Hollywood actress Jodie Foster once shared that she didn’t converse with the legendary Sir Anthony Hopkins during the filming of their iconic film, The Silence of the Lambs.

An old clip from The Graham Norton Show has resurfaced online, showcasing Foster reflecting on her experiences on the set of The Silence of the Lambs.

    Memorable Moments on Set

Foster revealed, “No, never spoke to him. He was scary. The first day we had a reading, we had like a little read-through. I got there early, and then I went to the bathroom, and I came back, everybody was sitting down. We did the read-through of the film. And by the end of it, I never wanted to talk to him again. And so then we did the whole movie. He was always behind the glass partitions. Because the scenes were so long, they’d kind of lock him in at the beginning of the day, and he’d go there, and then the next day, he’d be on the other side, and I’d be on this side. And we got to the end of the movie, and it really had never had a conversation.”

    A Surprising Interaction

She also recounted an interesting encounter, saying, “I avoided him. I really avoided him. And then I was eating a tuna fish sandwich. It was the last day of the shoot, and he came up to me, and I guess he sidled up to me, and I said, I don’t know, I sort of had a tear in my eye. I was like, I was really scared of you. And he said, I was scared of you.”

    About the Film

The Silence of the Lambs, directed by Jonathan Demme, is a psychological thriller based on Thomas Harris’s novel. It follows FBI trainee Clarice Starling, portrayed by Jodie Foster, as she seeks the help of the imprisoned cannibalistic psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter to catch the serial killer Buffalo Bill.

The film is celebrated for its gripping storytelling and chilling performances, particularly Anthony Hopkins’s unforgettable rendition of Lecter. It delves into themes of manipulation, trauma, and power dynamics. Remarkably, it became one of the few films to secure the “Big Five” Academy Awards: Best Picture, Director, Actor, Actress, and Screenplay. The movie continues to stand as a landmark in suspense cinema and crime-psychological storytelling.

Farah also shared poignant moments from that time, stating, “We were all feeling very bad. Your dad was so upset. We were crossing Marine Drive, thinking Farhan must also be feeling terrible. • Paul McCartney Delivers Silent Performance for Unique AI Protest Album

Paul McCartney Delivers Silent Performance for Unique AI Protest Album

The Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney has recently gone behind the mic to lend his voice to a unique “silent” track.

    Protest Against AI Copyright Stance

The renowned singer-songwriter has recorded this song as a protest against the UK government’s stance on AI copyright, as reported by ‘Female First UK’. The 83-year-old artist’s offering will be released as a bonus track on the physical copy of the compilation album ‘Is This What We Want?’. This album, initially released digitally earlier this year, features silent recordings from empty studios to emphasize the vital role of human contribution in music.

More than 1,000 artists, including notable names like Kate Bush, Damon Albarn, and Annie Lennox, contributed to this thought-provoking album. The tracklisting for ‘Is This What We Want?’ clearly states, “The British government must not legalise music theft to benefit AI companies”.

    Voices of Concern

67-year-old Kate Bush expressed concern in a statement, asking, “In the music of the future, will our voices go unheard?” The physical version of the album is set to be released on December 8, with all profits going to the charity Help Musicdigihunt, which provides extensive support to artists in crisis.

McCartney was also among 400 artists who signed an open letter addressed to Britain’s Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, urging protection for their works against AI learning models. High-profile figures like Sir Elton John, Dua Lipa, and Coldplay joined the protest against the government’s proposal that would allow creatives to “opt out” of having their works used to train AI models.

    Raising Awareness

Macca highlighted concerns that artists might be exploited by this approach. He told the BBC earlier this year, “You get young guys, girls, coming up, and they write a beautiful song, and they don’t own it, and they don’t have anything to do with it. And anyone who wants can just rip it off.”

Referencing the Beatles classic “Yesterday,” he asserted, “The truth is, the money’s going somewhere. Somebody’s getting paid, so why shouldn’t it be the guy who sat down and wrote Yesterday?”

McCartney conveyed a message for the Labour government, saying, “We are the people, you’re the Government. You’re supposed to protect us. That’s your job. So you know, if you’re putting through a Bill, make sure you protect the creative thinkers, the creative artists, or you’re not going to have them.”

Love and prayers always! Jai Hind! #Cricket #Actor #FanClub.”
