Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was recently spotted with a clean-shaven look at Kalina airport in Mumbai, drawing attention as he navigated through heavy security. The actor took a moment to wave to the media present before proceeding to his security check.
Previously, Salman had showcased a moustache for his role in the upcoming war film ‘Galwan’. He maintained this look for an extended period while filming for the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ and during his Dabangg Tour. It seems the actor is finally entering a restful phase after a grueling schedule, especially with the finale of ‘Bigg Boss’ scheduled for Sunday. Additionally, he is preparing to celebrate his milestone 60th birthday on December 27, 2025.
The film ‘Galwan’ marks another transformation in Salman’s appearance, particularly his trademark moustache, famously embodied in his role as Chulbul Pandey, the grey cop from the ‘Dabangg’ franchise.
In a recent Instagram post, Salman shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the film’s set, where he is seen peeking through a clapperboard. The image captures the 86th scene, featuring a close-up shot of the actor during his first take.
Dressed in combat fatigues that included a jacket with insignia, Salman embraced the old Personal Camouflage Disruptive Pattern Material (PC DPM) to reflect the era of the 2020-2021 Galwan stand-off. The PC DPM was later replaced by the New Battle Dress Uniform (NBDU) of the Indian National Camouflage, which debuted on January 15, 2022, during the 74th Army Day Parade in New Delhi, designed in collaboration with NIFT.
The image also shows a wound across the actor’s face, with the caption reading “#BattleOfGalwan”. The film is inspired by the Galwan stand-off that occurred between India and China on June 15, 2020, amid the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in India.
