Actress Esha Deol has openly discussed her evolving relationship with her father, Dharmendra.

In a past interview with Lehren TV, she reflected on how their bond has shifted from a strict father-daughter dynamic during her childhood to a close friendship now. Esha shared her experience of acting with Dharmendra in “Tell Me O Kkhuda,” noting that while she had previously danced with her mother, Hema Malini, and participated in interviews, this was her first acting endeavor alongside her father.

She expressed the excitement she felt internally, even as she tried to maintain a composed exterior. “That was a very sweet experience. For the first time, I was saying a dialogue in front of him. Inside, I was feeling nervous, but I showed that I was fine. It was an emotional moment for me, realizing that I was acting with my father,” Esha revealed.

When asked about the stricter parent, Esha remarked that while Dharmendra was indeed strict in her childhood, their relationship has grown stronger over time.

“Mummy is more strict. Papa used to be very strict earlier, but now we share a strong friendship. So while he was strict before, that’s not the case anymore.”

“Tell Me O Kkhuda,” directed and produced by Hema Malini, featured an ensemble cast including Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor, Farooq Sheikh, Esha Deol, and Arjan Bajwa, with Salman Khan making a guest appearance. Speaking about the new song, Meet Bros mentioned that “Nagin” was crafted to match the high-energy vibe audiences have been enjoying in “Mastiii 4”, which stars Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani.

They stated, “Nagin was created purely to match the crazy energy audiences are loving in Mastiii 4. It’s bold, it’s catchy, and it has that classic desi dance groove people instantly connect with. We wanted a track that feels fun, festive, and larger-than-life — and ‘Nagin’ hits that mood perfectly.”

Co-singer and lyricist Danish Sabri shared that they had a great time creating “Nagin”. Describing the song, he expressed, “It’s spicy, it’s quirky, and it captures the full madness of the film. Directed by Milap Zaveri, “Mastiii 4” returns the mischievous charm of the original trio — Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani. This time, Ruhii Singh, Shreya Sharma, and Elnaaz Norouzi join the fun in significant roles, along with special appearances by Arshad Warsi and Nargis Fakhri.

Radhika portrays Smita, who lives a sheltered and near-invisible life in the serene town of Fursatgarh, nurturing her lush garden where every leaf feels like a confidant. However, her tranquil existence is shattered when a shocking double murder disrupts the town’s peace. As hidden tensions and motives come to light, it becomes evident that nothing is as simple as it seems. Amid a deepening investigation, Smita is drawn out of her cocoon and into a swirl of suspicion alongside various potential suspects.

Forced into the open, she must confront the unraveling mysteries around her while also fighting to preserve her sense of peace and sanity.

Neha also commented on society’s perception of therapy. “I think there is still a long way to go, and I don’t know when that gap will finally be bridged. If a daughter feels she needs therapy, people judge her — even parents say, ‘Why do you need it? You’re fine.’ But when you watch Perfect Family, you see it’s all of us, you, me, her.”

“Somewhere, we all feel suppressed; somewhere, we stop ourselves from speaking up, and that’s conditioning. I hope Perfect Family inspires people to understand therapy, communication, co-existing, and undoing those layers with love, space, happiness, and respect.”
