Rani Ki Prem Kahani gets a new release date; Find out
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani has delayed its release by three months. While the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer was earlier supposed to hit the big screens on April 28, it will now be released on July 28. The makers took to social media to share the fresh release date for the film.
Karan Johar shared the new release date on social media, writing, “They say ‘sabr ka phal meetha hota hai’, so to increase the mithaas of this incredibly special story – we’re coming with a whole lot of love! Rocky aur Rani ke parivaar ho rahe hai taiyyaar, aur ab dekhiye yeh anokhi kahani of pyaar!🍿❤️ #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani in cinemas 28th July, 2023.”
Both Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh also shared Instagram posts announcing the new date for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’s release. While Alia wrote in her caption, “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani… releasing July 28, 2023. See you at the movie,” Ranveer shared the announcement with a caption that read, ‘Kyunki (because) it’s all about loving your family!”
Several celebs, including actor Janhvi Kapoor and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar commented on their posts, and many fans left comments like ‘can’t wait’ and ‘excited’.
For the unversed, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Productions. It also stars actors like Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in key roles.
For those unaware, the film marks Karan Johar’s return to director’s seat after a hiatus of seven years. He last directed 2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
