Exclusive: Confirmed: Star Bharat To Come Up With Female Version Of SENSUOUS Web Series Mastram, Deets Inside
Mumbai: In a city that churns out entertainment content like no other in the subcontinent, there have been negative talks about the kind of shows that TV primarily is coming out with some have even called Hindi TV content regressive and rightly so!
We have had enough of the saas-bahu dramas, the stupidly sudden transformation of the meek housewife into a viscious Naagin along with all the Icchadari Daayans and Nevlas combined. Such absurd content is ridiculously watched by the Indian people especially in the hinterland and now however, things are going to get a little to steamy at least as far as the TV serials are concerned!
Yes, you read it right. Well, you see there has been a proliferation in the web content aka OTT! That space is booming and thus the television channels and producers are bearing the brunt of it. The TRPs of the channels have fallen drastically and the makers are on the hunt for desperate measures to better the situation. Such is the case of Star Bharat. The channel was at its peak almost 12 years ago when it used to be called Life OK and now it is in shambles. Therefore, in order to revive it the makers have come up with something innovative.
One of the biggest TV serial production companies have taken the onus to produce a “HOT” TV show. Well, a source close to the channel has revealed exclusively to us that This show which is being planned to be aired on Star Bharat is based on the popular erotic writer Mastram but with a twist. This time it is a lady who will essay the role.” He further went on to elaborate the lady will be the writer and she will obviously have a different pen name not Mastram! “Because the medium is television the makers have been extra cautious about the scenes and the way they plan to shoot the show and therefore instead of the visuals they are relying on the language which they are working towards making very sensuous. The play of words in the form of dialogues will be seductive and therefore will be audibly exciting.”
Well, this is surely a unique and an extremely gallant move on the part of the channel and the production house as well, which by the way has produce some extremely controversial shows in the past.
Now, only time will tell when the show hits the TV screens but whenever it does, it will create ripples everywhere (Pun intended).
