Pathan trailer to release on January 10; Sheezan Khan’s bail plea postponed
Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan and television actor Sheezan Khan were among the top news stories of the day.
The much-awaited trailer of Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer Pathan is finally going to release on January 10 at 11 am. Announcing the news, King Khan took to social media on Monday and wrote: “Thanks for waiting…Ab Pathan Ki Mehfil Mein Aa Jao…#Pathan trailer out tomorrow at 11am!” Pathan marked Shah Rukh’s return to the big screen after the 2018 film Zero. It is directed by Siddharth Anand and backed by Yash Raj Films.

The Tunisha Sharma suicide case took a new turn on Monday when the bail plea of actor and accused Sheejan Khan was adjourned till January 11, 2023. This decision was announced by the Vasai court. “We have sought further date and we will present our view in the court on January 11,” Tarun Sharma, lawyer for Tunisha Sharma’s family, was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
This is the second time the court has adjourned the bail plea of Sheezan Khan. The actor is currently in judicial custody.

Siddharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film Mission Majnu is in discussion these days. Thus, the makers finally unveiled the in-depth trailer. Sharing it on his Twitter handle, Malhotra wrote, “Those who put country before self, there they are #DeshKeLiyeMajnu. One such Majnu is Amandeep Singh who put his life on the line for India’s most dangerous mission. Watch Mission Majnu, a spy thriller inspired by true events.” Mission Majnu will release on 20 January next year on the OTT platform Netflix.

Urvashi Rautela’s mother recently shared a picture on social media of the hospital where cricketer Rishabh Pant is admitted. Along with the photo, he penned a note for his daughter and wrote, “Everything is fine don’t worry son @urvashirautela.” However, this left netizens disappointed. Soon after the post was shared, several fans of Pant commented on it and accused the daughter-mother duo of ‘harassment’.

Kantara actor Kishore Kumar ji has been in the news recently for getting his Twitter handle suspended out of the blue along with taking a dig at Yash’s Kannada blockbuster film KGF 2. In the light of the boycott call against Shah Rukh Khan’s action-thriller Pathan and the vandalism at a mall in Ahmedabad a few days back, Kishor has weighed in on the situation saying that the ‘boycott’ movement is nothing but hooliganism.
