India’s Best Resorts host, Rocky and Queen star Harman Singha predicts 2023 to be one of the most exciting years

Harman Singha will be seen as the host of India’s Best Resorts.
While actor Harman Singha is a popular host on television, he will also be seen on the big screen this year with the love story of Rocky and Rani.
Actor-host Harman Singha has a lot to look forward to in 2023. He started the year by hosting a new travel show called India’s Best Resorts, in which he and his co-host Simran Kaur take viewers to some of the most luxurious resorts in the country. She then has two big projects in the pipeline – Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani’s love story and Yaariaan 2, which has been dubbed as Yaariaan Forever. With so much happening this year, Harman told News18.com that 2023 is one of the most exciting years of his life.
The actor, who was last seen in series like Shoorveer and Potluck, shared his excitement about hosting the new travel show, working with Karan Johar and more.
It looks like a big year for you – with shows premiering and you also have a few Bollywood projects in the pipeline. Are you excited, or nervous?
Apart from India’s Best Resorts, I have another show and a few Bollywood projects. This is probably one of the most exciting years of my career so far and it’s amazing that there is always something to look forward to. As an actor and a host, you’re always looking forward to working with new and exciting people, and I’ve been fortunate enough to learn a lot.
Please tell us something about the best resorts in India.
To be honest, the show is like a dream job for me. This is one of those opportunities that you just have to grab. We have traveled to Goa, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Kashmir and many of these experiences were first time experiences for me. As someone who loves to travel, I thought that, personally, I had grown and had fun. I have learned a lot. It has tons of content for all kinds of people.
Out of the many resorts you visited as part of the show, which one would you call your favourite?
That’s a very tough question because I thoroughly enjoyed all eight of them. But if I have to choose I think going to Gulmarg and staying at Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa (was my favorite experience). It was a very warm experience there. It was amazing. I would really like to thank Nexa Journeys Presents Best Resorts in India on Zee Zest for this opportunity.
Every travel show comes with its share of challenges. What challenges did you face?
As most of the shoots had to be done in the morning, the challenge is that you are always racing against time. There were challenges during the entire process but I feel the entire cast and crew of the show were in great sync and also Simran and I as hosts were very comfortable and cooperative. All the challenges pushed us towards excitement and fun.
Focusing on the love story of Rocky and Rani, how was the experience working with Ranveer and Alia?
She is definitely a powerhouse but sadly I didn’t have any scenes with Ranveer Singh or Alia Bhatt. I am doing completely stand-alone scenes. But I hope to meet him very soon.
You also have Yaariyan Forever in the pipeline. Have you started shooting for it?
Yaariyan Forever is already on the sets. I am really looking forward to it as I am playing an antagonist for the first time. It stars Vinay (Sapru) sir in a stellar cast and is being directed by Radhika (Rao) ma’am. It is going to be a big film because of the cast.
There are rumors that the film is a remake of the Malayalam film Bangalore Days. Are the speculations true?
I really have no idea, I think the best answer can be given by Vinay sir or Radhika ma’am, or someone from T-Series team as I am not at liberty to discuss the content or the script right now.
