Abhimanyu Dassani, Amol Parashar and Shreya Dhanwanthary will share the screen space in the upcoming film ‘Nausikhie’. The film will be a rib-tickling comedy and will be directed by Santosh Singh.
Talking about the film, actor Abhimanyu Dassani, known for his work in ‘Meenakshi Sundareswarar’ and ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’, said in a statement, “I am looking forward to the bang that I’m off to shoot. This crazy, crazy-caper. ‘Nashikiye’ has a quirky yet charming small town atmosphere with great music, hilarious situations and zany characters.
The film will present the story of two wedding crashers who accidentally steal a bride, leading to a cat-and-mouse chase across the country. The cameras will soon start rolling for the film.
It was a no-brainer for Abhimanyu’s co-actor Amol Parashar to say yes to the script as he connected with the idea.
Parashar said, “When I was narrated the script, I said yes almost immediately. It’s an absolute laugh riot. Comedy has been my favorite genre as an actor and as an audience. I am looking forward to preparing and diving into the shoot.
Written by Chirag Garg and Avinash Dwivedi, the film will be produced by Ellipsis Entertainment in association with Lionsgate India Studios. Earlier, Lionsgate India Studios had announced ‘Letters to Mr. Khanna’ starring Neetu Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal and Shraddha Srinath.
Actress Shreya Dhanwanthary said, “This film is like a homecoming. This is my third one with Ellipsis. I am very excited to be a part of this madcap comedy that intrigued me from the very beginning. You are welcome to Universal Entertainment.” Can’t go wrong with, more so in these times. Unlike some of the roles I’ve played in the recent past, my viewers will also see me in a new light.”
