Vikram Gokhale started his career in the film industry at the age of 26 in 1971 with the Amitabh Bachchan starrer film Parwana. Gokhale has acted in several Marathi and Bollywood films, including the 1990 film Agneepath starring Amitabh Bachchan and the 1999 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam starring Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Won the National Award for Best Actor in 2010
In 2010, he won the National Award for Best Actor in 2010 for his brilliant performance in the Marathi film ‘Anumati’. He made his directorial debut with the Marathi film ‘Aaghat’.
