The Reno 9 and Reno 9 Pro have many features in common other than the chipset they use. The base Reno 9 relies on the Snapdragon 778G chip, while the Reno 9 Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip. Both phones have a 6.7-inch FHD+ 10-bit AMOLED display with curved edges and a 120Hz refresh rate.
I’m not sure which one
As for the cameras, the Reno 9 has a dual camera setup with a 64 MP main sensor and a 2 MP B&W sensor. The front camera has a 32 MP sensor with autofocus. The Reno 9 Pro has a 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 112-degree FoV on the back. The 32MP autofocus selfie camera remains unchanged. The Pro version also has a MariSilicon NPU chip.
The phones rely on a 4500mAh battery and support 67W wired fast charging. They run ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 by default.
The Oppo Reno 9 Pro+, on the other hand, relies on a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. It uses the same 6.7-inch 120Hz FHD+ display that houses the same 32MP selfie camera. The cameras are different here, with a main 50MP camera with OIS, an ultra-wide 8MP ultra-wide camera with macro cam functionality, and a third 2MP depth camera.
The phone has a slightly larger 4700mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging.
