Meenakshi Seshadri On Relationship: Meenakshi Seshadri, one of the most talented actresses of the 1980s, is all set to make a comeback. She has returned to India and is meeting her old friends from Bollywood. The actress also recently attended the reunion party of Jackie Shroff and Poonam Dhillon.
Meenakshi, who proved her acting prowess with films like ‘Damini’ and ‘Ghatak’, was also in limelight for her love affairs. His name was sometimes associated with singer Kumar Sanu and sometimes with filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi. There were rumors in the 1990s that Rajkumar Santoshi and Meenakshi were going to tie the knot while he was making ‘Damini’ with her and Sunny Deol.

Now, Meenakshi in a recent interview addressed these rumors and shared how they both had mutually decided that they would “not comment” on the link-up. He said that it would be unfair to break that agreement now, as he was leading a “respectable life”.
In an interview with The Times of India, when Meenakshi was asked about her equation with Rajkumar Santoshi at that time, she said that when the news started coming, and “whatever potential problems happened”, they decided to Will focus on the film. She also shared how filmmaker Yash Chopra and actor Amjad Khan had to intervene to “bring Damini back on track”.
Meenakshi, who married US-based entrepreneur Harish Mysore in 1995, also shared that soon after she and Santoshi broke up, they “married and led a respectable life and he also married and did the same.” Meenakshi, who made an impressive debut with ‘Painter Babu’ and ‘Hero’ in 1983, was last seen in Sunny Deol’s ‘Ghayal Once Again’ in 2016. She now lives in Pune, while her family is still in the US.
