Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was impressed by ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 14’ contestant Mohsin Khan Mansoori from Rajasthan’s Bhilwara. The 30-year-old contestant impressed the host with his story and how being a daily wage laborer, he is doing everything for his mother and sister.
He also returned the money taken from his sister after winning three lakh rupees in the show. He left the show after winning six lakh forty thousand rupees.
Despite having an MA degree in History, Mohsin had to resort to helping his father in the market as he could not get a proper job even after several interviews.
He told Amitabh Bachchan: “Sir, I want to win a huge amount and show it to all the people who will make fun of me by saying ‘Ek Mazdoor ka beta hi ek Mazdoor hoga’ by opening my own shop.” Mohsen also expressed his other wishes that he wants to fulfill with the money: “I want to open my own business and be the boss.”
Extending his best wishes, Big B said, “We have a lot of respect for you. As you have reached here with your talent and hard work.
Talking about his experience of being on the hotseat and being on the show, Mohsin said: “It was my lifelong dream to be on KBC and I feel blessed to be on this iconic game show. With this opportunity, I want to change the perspective of the society and show people that even if someone is a laborer’s son, if he works hard, he can reach a prestigious platform like ‘KBC’. One should never lose hope and always try to dream big.”
‘KBC 14’ airs on Sony Entertainment Television.
