Anupam Kher Bankrupt: The year 2022 was very good for Bollywood actor Anupam Kher. This year, three of his films were released on screen and all three proved to be big hits. ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘Kartikeya’ did record breaking collections while Anupam’s latest release film ‘Unchai’ is also performing well at the box office. Amidst all this, in an interview given to Hindustan Times, the actor made many revelations. He also said that he had gone completely bankrupt in 2004.

The actor told during the interview that he had facial paralysis before a major scene in ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun…’ and the doctor asked him to stay at home for two months and cancel the shoot. However, he went to the sets and completed the shoot the same day.

Anupam Kher further reveals that in 2004, he almost went bankrupt. Since he was not a business minded person, he started again. The actor says that he is the total of his failure. Kher also recalled that people started calling him veteran, veteran and legend which meant you should be given a lifetime achievement award. However, the actor refused to do so. He went abroad and did the American series. Anupam told Hindustan Times that after turning 60 people thought of retirement but he started building his body.

Anupam Kher was last seen in Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files’ earlier this year, which turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office. He was also a part of ‘Kartikeya 2’ which was a big hit. The actor also claimed to be the only actor to deliver films worth Rs 480 crore this year. Anupam’s latest release is Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Unchai’. Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Sarika and Parineeti Chopra are also in important roles in this film. The film is currently showing a good trend at the box office.
