That One Piece Of Advice From Shah Rukh Khan That Abhishek Bachchan Added To His “Life Cart”

When asked if he is waiting for any specific character that he still wants to play, the actor told ANI, “No! I am very bad at it, whatever I am doing, focus on it. I do, instead of what I’m doing. I can.” He said, “In the early years of my career, Shah Rukh Khan ji explained this concept to me in the most accurate way possible.”
Recalling the conversation, Abhishek said, “Actually, one day when both of us were chatting and I asked him the same question, you have done an amazing job, which one is your favorite and what would all the roles you like to do. To which Shah Rukh replied, “Whatever work and roles I am doing right now. Always remember that you are an actor. Ask yourself and introspect, if whatever you are doing right now is yours. Not a favorite, so why are you doing it too? Don’t focus on what’s going to happen in the future. Just focus on your present and give your 100%.”
“Since then I have added this advice to my life cart and I very much swear by this career advice,” the actor said.
Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan co-starred for the first time in the 2006 film never say Goodbye, He also co-starred in 2014 Happy New Year, directed by Farah Khan. Abhishek had a cameo role in Shah Rukh’s 2007 film peace, Abhishek also starred in the standalone Bob Biswas film, which was produced by Shah Rukh Khan.
