Happy Guru Nanak Jayanti to all. This year 8th November is the 553rd birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev. Like the rest of the country, Bollywood stars have also extended their heartfelt congratulations on social media. From Kajol and Shilpa Shetty to Karan Johar and Maheep Kapoor, members of the film fraternity have shared glimpses of their celebrations. Kajol posted a picture of herself and her son Yug clicked outside a gurudwara. While Yug is seen wearing a white kurta-pyjama, Kajol looks pretty in a pastel-shade kurta set. Kajol wrote with the photo, ‘Guru Nanak Jayanti’.

Shilpa Shetty shared a picture of Guru Nanak Dev and wished her fans with these words, “May the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji illuminate your life with positivity and courage. Guru Nanak Dev ji de gurupurab diyan saariyan nu lakh lakh wadaiyan.
Actress Nimrit Kau posted beautiful pictures of herself celebrating Guru Nanak Jayanti with her friends. His post also featured a picture from a gurdwara. “Happy Gurpurab to you and your loved ones from my heart, home and loved ones. Meditate in his name, work hard and sincerely and share and consume without any discrimination. Happy Gurpurab, everyone,” read her caption .
To-be Bipasha Basu wrote, “May Guru Nanak Dev Ji inspire you to achieve all your goals, grant you peace, eternal bliss and happiness.”
Karan Johar kept it simple and sweet. He wrote, “Happy Gurupurab” alongside the picture of the first Sikh Guru.
