Shanaya Kapoor Recreates Anne Hathaway’s Look From The Princess Diaries. Ananya Calls It Iconic

For Orhaan Avtramani’s Halloween party, young Bollywood celebs dressed up in fun horror outfits or resembled characters from movies, TV shows and books. From Sara Ali Khan to Ananya Panday, the Halloween bash was a star-studded affair. But our personal favorite was Shanaya Kapoor, who took inspiration from Mia Thermopolis (played by Anne Hathaway) from the movie The Princess Diaries. Shanaya opted for a white strapless dress with minimal print and paired it with gloves, socks and sneakers of the same colour. If you are still guessing the resemblance between Shanaya and Princess of Genovia, these pictures will put an end to your doubts. In an Instagram post, Shanaya shared pictures of herself as well as Anne Hathaway’s character from the film. For the caption, she chose a famous dialogue from the film and wrote, “Me, a princess? close”.
Replying to the post, Shanaya Kapoor’s father Sanjay Kapoor wrote, “Who are you?” Shanaya’s mother Maheep Kapoor declared that she is “my queen”. BFFs Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan couldn’t stop themselves from leaving love notes for Shanaya. According to Ananya, the look is “iconic”. Suhana wrote, “Tejaswi” with a heart-eye emoji. “Shattapp! I am obsessed,” commented Akansha Ranjan Kapoor.
Ananya Panday’s mother Bhavna Pandey has a word for Shanaya Kapoor’s pictures, “fab.” Seema Kiran Sajdeh also dropped the two heart-eyed emoji.

Meanwhile, Ananya Panday channeled her inner poo for Halloween get-together. Along with a video of her dressing time, she wrote, “Today is my birthday and tomorrow is Halloween so obviously I had to dress up as my all-time favorite poo! Apparently there isn’t even a patch on Kareena Kapoor Khan, I’m just a fan of Have a Great Time. Don’t yell at me, Karan Johar.”
