Neetu Kapoor, Working With Asrani After 47 Years, Shares Pic From Film Set

Neetu Kapoor’s new film Letters to Mr Khanna is special to her for several reasons. One of them is collaboration with veteran actor Asrani after 47 years. The two have worked together in a few films like Raj Mahal, Ab Kya Hoga, Dhongi and Priyatam in the 70s and early 80s. Letters to Mr Khanna is his first film in four decades. Neetu Kapoor on Friday shared a selfie with Asrani and the film’s other actors Sunny Kaushal and Shraddha Srinath. Neetu Kapoor is seen sitting on the back seat with Asrani. Sharing the photo on her Instagram stories, Neetu Kapoor wrote, “After 47 years on the sets with Asrani ji. Unreal.”

Letters to Mr Khanna is being directed by Milind Dhaimade. This is Lionsgate India Studios’ first feature film. Announcing the project in September, Neetu Kapoor wrote: “Something new and exciting is coming soon from Lionsgate Studios, and I am thrilled and excited to be a part of this mesmerizing experience. Directed by Milind Dhamade. “
The photo shows him posing with Sunny Kaushal, Shraddha Srinath and Lionsgate India Managing Director Rohit Jain among others.
Neetu Kapoor believes that letters to Mr Khanna will touch the hearts of many. The actress had said, “It goes beyond the regular mother-son story and explores a different side that sets a unique tone for the rom-com genre. I am excited to be a part of Lionsgate Studios’ first production. I am, in a film, I am sure it will touch hearts and stay close to my heart.”
In terms of work, Neetu Kapoor was last seen in the hit Jagjag Jio alongside Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan.
