Akshay Kumar’s Film “Holds Well” At Over Rs 26 Crore

Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu has been steady in double digits at the box office. The film collected Rs 15.25 crore on the opening day. According to film analyst Taran Adarsh, the film starring Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrat Bharucha in the lead roles has seen a drop on the second day. The collection came down to Rs 11.40 from Rs 15.25. The film analyst said that Ram Setu “keeps a good grip on the mass circuit, but the major centers remain short.” However, he added that the remaining weeks, Thursday and Friday, are going to be crucial for the film.
Along with a snapshot of the film, Taran Adarsh wrote, “Ram Setu falls in day 2 but stays in double digits… remains good in mass circuit, but major hubs remain low… Thursday More biz on friday [working days] Important, before the weekend, starts… Tuesday 15.25 cr, Wednesday 11.40 cr. Total: Rs 26.65 crore.”

Before the release of Ram Setu, Akshay Kumar introduced the characters of the film on social media. Akshay dropped a post for Jacqueline Fernandez, who plays the role of Dr Sandra Rebello, an environmental warrior, in the film. He wrote, “Our fearless partner on this campaign (our fearless partner in this campaign). Environmental Warrior. Meet Dr. Sandra Rebello.”
In Ram Setu, Nushrat Bharucha plays Dr. Aryan Kulshrestha’s (Akshay Kumar) “better half,” Professor Gayatri. Take a look at the post dedicated to her character.

Ram Sethu released on October 25, a day after Diwali. The film clashed with Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra’s Thank God at the box office.
