Ace comedian, singer and YouTube star Bhuvan Bam is all set for his next project, the web series ‘Taza Khabar’, which also stars ‘Satya’ star JD Chakraborty, ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai”s Deven Bhojani, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Marathi actors. Huh. Prathamesh Parab.
Bhuvan is excited to share the screen space with such well-known faces of the entertainment industry.
Bhuvan Bam said: “JD Chakraborty and Deven Bhojani are people we grew up watching. JD Chakraborty sir’s character in ‘Satya’ is still untouchable and Deven Bhojani has been an iconic figure in the Gujarati theater scene.
Bhuvan plays the role of Vasant Gawade, a cleaning worker from Mumbai, and the story brings to the fore his struggle to come out of poverty and lead a better life.
Talking about all the effort it took to get into the character, he explained: “As you can imagine, I had to try my best to bring things to their level. Even for such big names, their humility and simplicity is something else. It has always been a dream to work with such big names and it is great to see it happen.”
Bhuvan Bam is also co-producing the series under his home production company ‘Bibi Ki Wines Production’. Directed by Himank Gaur, the show will soon be streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar.
