Sriti Jha was born in Begusarai, Bihar in 1986, although she lived in Kolkata since childhood. When Sriti was 10 years old, she went to Kathmandu, Nepal with her family to live and completed her studies from there. Sriti did her BA in English from Venkateswara College, Delhi. During this, Sriti joined the English Drama Society of the college and later she also became the President, just what was then, Sriti’s dreams got flight from here. When Sriti was studying in Delhi, she was selected for Dhoom Machao Dhoom. In this show, Sriti played the role of Malini Sharma, who is very shy and superstitious.
