How iPhone 7 Plus changed the smartphone industry
If you are a fan of smartphone photography, there are countless options on the market. From dual-camera smartphones that offer macro photography to phones that can even capture the moon in stunning quality, you can now get a smartphone with a camera that meets your specific needs. But in 2016, there weren’t many options on the market, with the exception of the HTC One M-8. However, that all changed when Apple announced the iPhone 7 Plus at the September 2016 event.
The Cupertino tech giant announced iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on September 7, 2016, but it was iPhone 7 Plus that made all the headlines. iPhone 7 Plus was the first Apple iPhone with dual cameras that offer stunning image quality without compromise.

The smartphone offered hardware-based software photography and Live Photos feature. iPhone 7 Plus also offered 4K video recording at 30 frames per second, which also supported OIS.
The dual camera features instantly won fans around the world. It became the talk of the town with people talking about how Apple revolutionized the smartphone industry again after yet another innovation.
Speaking at the launch event, Philip Schiller, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, said: “iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus dramatically improve every aspect of the iPhone experience, reaching a new level of innovation and precision to make this the best iPhone we’ve ever made. have had. made.”
iPhone 7 Plus was powered by Apple’s new four-core A10 Fusion chip that offered twice the performance of the iPhone 6 with improved battery life. It was also the first iPhone to be water and dust resistant. The smartphone also had other groundbreaking features, but again, the cameras made it arguably the best camera smartphone on the market at the time.
Now Apple wants to conquer the market again with the upcoming iPhone 14. All that’s left is to wait for the smartphone to be officially launched on September 7. Will it be a game-changer phone? Keep an eye on this space.
