Shahid Afridi Makes BIG Comment on Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav After India Beat Hong Kong
Dubai: Team India is yet to lose in the ongoing Asia Cup after two games. The Rohit Sharma-led side beat Pakistan in their opener and then hammered Hong Kong in their second game. Against HK – Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav – hit fifties and received praise from all quarters. A couple of days after the Hong Kong game, former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi weighed in on India’s show. “Yes, I saw it in the limited time I got. I sat to watch Virat’s batting. He was playing slowly as he knew how important this inning was for him. The opposition doesn’t matter. It will always give you confidence if you score runs. So he was playing like that but when Suryakumar came in… he hit his first ball for four, then the second ball for four and came in with a license to attack everything,” Afridi said on Samaa TV. “Body language is very important. You should appear confident even when you are taking a single, defending the ball, or hitting a six. And the confidence he showed while hitting those big shots was superb. He entertained the crowd,” Afridi added.
Meanwhile, India has advanced to the Super Four stage and would now take on the winner of Pakistan-Hong Kong on Sunday. The Babar Azam-led side looks hot favourites against Hong Kong but again they cannot take the game lightly.
