In an interview with Vice India, he recalled, “The experiences on the streets in Delhi were not fun at all. I don’t think we need to feel so scared as college goers. Every time I used to walk from my PG to my college, I used to get scared because there was a patch of road which was deserted. On one side there was a drain and on one side there was a school which used to close till 3 pm. Or at 4 p.m. So if you cross that patch, you have to tell 10 people that you’re crossing it, just like if you don’t get to the other side of it, someone will check.”
