SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is not only one of the longest running shows on television but it is also one of the most loved shows. While the show continues to impress audiences across the globe, it seems to be a favorite of other television stars as well. Rishita aka actress Simran Budhroop of Pandya Store is proving the latest.
The actress recently shared a funny, fake video on social media. In this, she is seen copying the style of Dayaben of TMKOC, while talking about the benefits of eating almonds. Watching this clip, all we can say is – the show’s creators put an end to your search to find a substitute for Disha Vakani’s character – we think we have found it!
Sharing the funny video on her Instagram page, Simran Budhroop of Pandya Store captioned it “Saw eating almonds makes the mind grow” While wearing a vibrant pink salwar suit – with gold work on the kurta, the actress nailed the role. Registered as Dayaben of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Not only the character of Disha Vakani, but she also plays her onscreen husband Jethalal wearing a maroon hoodie with fake mustache and hair.

In the video, Simran tries to show this by first asking her (imaginary) husband how many wheat grains are in a kilo of grains and then how many bananas are in a dozen. Looking at how she slipped into the character’s skin, we must say that one can see her stepping into the shoes left blank by Disha Vakani, the producer of TMKOC.
