Actress Khushboo Atre, who plays Pankaj Tripathi’s character Madhav Mishra’s wife in the web series ‘Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach’, reveals what it was like working with her co-star in the third season and her role in it.

She shares: “In the last season, they were newlyweds and now people will get to see what happens sometime after the wedding. Pankaj ji is a very simple man. He is very easy going and friendly to work with. Also, the chemistry we have created together on screen comes very naturally. Hence, it looks very smooth on the screen as well. It is an academy in itself.”

The actress, who has worked in ‘Raazi’, ‘Illegal – Justice, Out of Order’ and others, revealed how her character Ratna will evolve in the third season.

“I think honesty is the biggest value while preparing for any character. Ratna is very genuine and honest so I try to achieve that.

Giving details about the show Khushboo Atre says, “This will be the toughest cast of Madhav Mishra till date. This season, the show gets bigger and better as the witty lawyer tackles one of the toughest cases of his career as he is faced with Lekha, a steel-gritted Assistant Public Prosecutor played by Shweta Basu Prasad. It was a very fruitful experience. All the co-stars are amazing in what they do and the atmosphere on the sets was very homely.”

Talking about her upcoming projects, Khushboo shares: “I shot for a feature film in the UK this month, which will come next year. Then, there are a few short films in the pipeline and another project is ready to go on floors. Apart from this, I am doing theater and drama regularly.”

Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India, the Rohan Sippy directorial stars Pankaj Tripathi, Gaurav Gera, Swastika Mukherjee, Shweta Basu Prasad and Purab Kohli. It will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from August 26.
