However, when the Uri attack took place, things took a wild turn and the government banned his shows in the country, in retaliation our neighboring country did the same. Salman Khan will soon be back to host the 16th season of the controversial reality show, but according to ABP, there was a time when the show used to air in Pakistan. Like India, Pakistani citizens were also crazy about this show. However, soon after BB9 ended, the Pakistani government banned the show due to the fights between the contestants and the hate speech used by them.
After Bigg Boss, the supernatural show remained the favorite of the fans. Season 1 which starred Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani and Adah Khan in lead roles, had a huge fan following not only in India but also in Pakistan. Half the viewership was from the neighboring country, however, a few days before season 2 aired, the Pakistani government decided to ban the show.

The comedy show, which premiered for the first time in 2015, is still the favorite show of the audience. In the sitcom, Vibhuti Narayan played by Asif Sheikh and Rohitash Gaur as Manmohan Tiwari are shown falling in love with each other’s wife, interestingly, both the women also like to get their attention. While the theme is fine among the Indian audience, Pakistan banned the show for sending the wrong message.

Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel had the highest fan following in the neighboring country, but the Pakistani government was not happy with the theme of the show. On the other hand, the intimacy between lead characters Raman and Ishita in one episode also led to the show being banned.
Despite revolving around a Muslim family, the hit show was banned in Pakistan. While there was no concrete reason, they refused to air the show simply because the show features an Indian Muslim family.
