Taapsee’s opinion on Boycott
Before the film’s release, Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap had commented on the boycott trend and the call to boycott Hindi films. Responding to a question about the trend of boycott prevailing in Bollywood, Taapsee told IndiaToday.in, “Please everyone boycott our film Dobara. I like Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan. I want to be in the league. I guess. Left out.” Adding to the same, Anurag said, “Yes please, I want our film to trend on the Boycott hashtag as well.” The duo further asked, “I want to know whether the people who call for boycott are the same ones who also watch movies in theatres?”
