Taarak Mehta Kaa Ooaltah Chashmah: The comedy drama show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ (TMKOC), which aired on SAB TV for years, has been successful in entertaining the audience. Each character of the show has maintained a distinct fanbase. Funny memes on characters come in the headlines on social media every day. However, this show known for its comic timing is surrounded by many allegations these days. Sometimes the show is accused of stopping the payment of stars, while many famous characters suddenly left the show.
For the past few days, there were reports that Shailesh Lodha has left the show as he wanted to do another show apart from TMKOC. However, as per the exclusive contract of the show, the stars cannot do any other show along with TMKOC. Because of this, he had to say goodbye to the character of Taarak Mehta. Recently, TMKOC’s producer Asit Modi has given the reason behind the exclusive contract.
Asit Modi explains the reason for the exclusive contract
Asit Modi has told in an interview to ‘Indian Express’ that why he has got the stars to sign an exclusive contract to be a part of the show. Asit Modi has even said that, for this reason, he has proved successful in taking this show to the top. The show maker said, “The audience has liked the show because they want to see these actors in these characters only. If all these actors do everything, then the value of the show will not be there.” Let us tell you that because of this contract, apart from Shailesh, Tappu aka Raj Anadkat is also being told the reason for leaving the show.
Asit Modi’s statement on the replacement of Tarak Mehta
Shailesh Lodha became quite popular in the role of ‘Taarak Mehta’. Even though his role was small, but he was famous. However, now he has left the show. When Asit Modi was asked about the replacement of Taarak Mehta, he said, “I want to keep everyone together. If someone is tired of this work and didn’t want to do anything, I give them a chance to think about it again, but if they stick to their decision then I can’t say anything. However, this does not mean that the show will stop. I want the old Taarak Mehta in the show, if he doesn’t come then we will have a new one. My aim is to make the audience laugh.”
Asit Modi wants Disha Vakani’s return
Asit Modi has also revealed that he also wants Disha Vakani back in the show. However, she is busy with her family duties. If she comes then fine, otherwise we will find new Dayaben.
