However, recently, the film has been making it to the trend list as trolls have been calling for a “boycott” of the film. Aamir Khan reacted to the controversy in a press conference on Tuesday. News agency ANI quoted him as saying, “If I have hurt anyone in any way, I am sorry. I don’t want to hurt anyone. If someone doesn’t want to watch the film, I respect their sentiment.” Am. .” Laal Singh Chaddha, directed by Advait Chandan, is an official remake of the 1994 Hollywood film Forrest Gump. Aamir played the titular role and Kareena Kapoor, his love interest.

Earlier, director Advait Chandan hit back at the haters for claiming that trolls were “paid” to give more attention to the film. His hilarious response, in an Instagram story, read: “I have been told that people are being paid to troll Aamir sir. Deeply saddened to hear this and it is completely unfair. I am giving them freebies Why am I trolling?” And added the hashtag #PayEveryTroll.
Not long ago, calls for the boycott began when Internet users found a 2015 interview of Aamir Khan in which he said that his then-wife Kiran Rao suggested that he move countries due to “growing intolerance” in India. .
Laal Singh Chadhai is going to release on August 11. It also stars Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya and has been in the works for more than 15 years. The film is jointly produced by Aamir Khan’s Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios.
