UGC Allows Another Extension For Submission Of MPhil Or PhD Thesis

New Delhi: Universities and higher educational institutions may give another extension of up to six months from June 30 for submission of MPhil or PhD thesis after reviewing the student’s work, a University Grants Commission (UGC) official said. on Monday. “UGC has approved that an extension of up to six months beyond June 30 may be given to M.Phil and PhD students on a review basis on a case-to-case basis for thesis submission by their respective higher educational institutions. Students work by the Research Advisory Committee and on the recommendation of the supervisor and the head of the department,” said the UGC official.
