Govt to Fill Vacancies of Teachers in Central Universities by March
New Delhi: The Ministry of Education has set a target to fill the vacant posts of teachers in central universities by March 2022. Most of the universities are working fast to fill up the vacant posts before the start of the new academic session of 2022 in April. The entire process is being monitored by a special team within the education ministry to fill vacancies in central universities, sources in the ministry said. After the instructions of the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the campaign to fill the vacant posts on a large scale has started. Also read- Good News! Delhi government will increase the salary of guest teachers
“The education minister had given instructions to fill up these posts by November 30, it got delayed as the process to fill up the posts is in progress. Now it has moved fast” said the sources.
At present there are about 50 central universities in the country and more than 6000 posts of teachers are vacant.
