Taking to his social media handle, the actor revealed in an Instagram post on December 28 that he and his son were vacationing in Goa, and that during routine RT-PCR testing for the flight back to Mumbai, he was found to be Covid positive. He also stated that he has taken precautions and has quarantined both his son and himself pending further investigation. He also stated that the wave is genuine.
Earlier Ranvir himself was tested positive for Covid. He was seen quarantining himself with mild symptoms at that time.
Meanwhile, Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma dated for three years before deciding to marry in 2010. After five years of marriage, they divorced. The actors are still co-parenting their child. They have appeared in movies such as Mixed Doubles, Aaja Nachle, Gour Hari Dastaan: The Freedom File, and A Death In The Gunj.
